These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the educational consulting services provided by Taj Coleman Educational Consulting (“I”, “me”, or “my”), based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. By using this website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the services.

The Services

I provide educational consulting services, including admissions roadmap sessions, application support packages, academic planning, and related advisory services for students and families. Sessions are delivered virtually unless otherwise agreed.

My services are educational and advisory in nature. They are not, and do not replace, licensed clinical therapy, medical care, psychological treatment, legal advice, or immigration advice. If a student needs clinical or specialised professional support, I will recommend seeking an appropriately licensed provider.

Eligibility and Parental Consent

Services involving a student under 18 must be arranged by, and delivered with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian. By booking on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that you have the guardian’s authorisation.

Booking, Fees, and Payment

Fees are stated in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED). Published prices are starting prices; the final fee is confirmed before engagement begins, based on the scope of support required.
Payment is due in advance of the session or package start, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Package fees cover the meetings and deliverables described for that package. Additional work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds

Sessions may be rescheduled at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed sessions without notice, may be charged or counted as used.
If I need to cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a replacement session at no additional cost.
Refunds for unused portions of packages are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not available for services already delivered.

Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information about the student and their academic history.
Attend scheduled sessions on time and complete agreed actions between sessions.
For application support packages, the student remains the author of their own applications. Students review, certify, and submit their applications, and essays remain the student’s own work.

Academic Integrity

I coach, review, and give feedback. I do not write essays or applications on a student’s behalf, complete assessments for students, or assist with any practice that would violate a school’s or university’s academic integrity policies.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Admissions decisions are made solely by schools and universities. While I provide experienced, strategic guidance, I cannot and do not guarantee admission to any institution, scholarship award, visa outcome, or any specific academic result.

Confidentiality

Information shared in the course of our work is kept confidential, as described in the Privacy Policy. Confidentiality has limited exceptions: I may disclose information where the law requires it, or where I have a serious concern about the safety of a student or another person.

Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, graphics, and materials I provide during engagements, belongs to me unless otherwise noted. You may use materials I share for the student’s personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing or distributing them for other purposes requires my written permission.

Third-Party Services

Scheduling, payment, and communication may rely on third-party platforms such as Calendly and WhatsApp. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and I am not responsible for their availability or practices.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the amount you paid for the services giving rise to the claim. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by third parties such as universities, schools, or governmental authorities.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not affect engagements already in progress unless required by law.
